Regional insurance — our story
Wideland Insurance Brokers is part of the WebInsure group, founded in 1996 by Trent Sampson who began his insurance career in regional NSW in 1992 — working in agricultural communities before building a broking practice with genuine understanding of rural and regional risks.
Our co-owner Lorraine Sampson holds a Rural Science degree and agronomist qualification — giving Wideland a depth of understanding of farm operations, seasonal pressures and agribusiness risks that is uncommon in the insurance industry. We operate as an Authorised Representative of CBN (AFSL 233750) and as a Steadfast Group member, giving regional clients access to a broad panel of insurers and products not available through direct channels.
